News Update

What's Good?

It's been a busy few months for all of us here at New Haven Comics.  Unfortunately, we've mostly been working on behind the scenes stuff, and we don't have a lot we can show at the moment.

The current Celestial chapter still has a few pages to go before it's finished.  We all got a little sidetracked between other projects and day jobs and we haven't had time to finish it.  But we will be putting up the final pages soon, as soon as we can get them colored.

We have a few new things that should be ready to roll out this Fall, but until then, we do have Zero's Heroes Annual #2 and Science Hero #4 available for download in our Shop.

Close observers may have noticed that I was not at Wizard World St. Louis this year.  I wanted to do WWSTL this year, but I just couldn't make it work with my schedule and the costs involved in doing a convention.  I'm going to be at Heroes Con in June and I've been spending most of my time and money preparing for that show.  Hopefully, I will be able to do WWSTL next year.  However, if you are in the St. Louis area, I will be at Project Comic Con this October.

You may also have noticed that our Kickstarter for Urban Archer & Abracadiva didn't go through.  It's disappointing, but we're moving forward.  Chris and I want to say a huge thank you to our friends and readers who supported the book.  We'll find a way to do that comic as soon as we can.  We love the characters too much to leave them in limbo.

In the mean time, you can always listen to me talk about comics almost every Wednesday on my podcast, Comic DNA.

Thanks everybody for reading, I can't wait to show off the stuff we're currently working on.

P.S. - And just to show that I am, in fact, working on something new, here is a sneak peak at a page from a project I am working on with the amazing Ed Bickford.  Ed has a cool anthology called Robot Pulp and he and I are teaming up for a cool new comic.
